Our mission
Fact-checking you can check.
Most fact-checks ask you to trust the verdict. FactHub shows you the work: the exact claim, the evidence, its limits, and the sources, so you can decide for yourself.
How to read a FactHub check
Claim we checked
“Bats are blind and rely only on echolocation.”
Bats can see, and many species use vision alongside echolocation.
Evidence, each piece with what it can’t show
Sources, linked and archived
- The exact claim. We rate precisely what was said, not an easier version of it.
- The rating and our confidence. How true the claim is, and how sure the evidence lets us be. How we rate
- The answer in one sentence. Enough to share, and quotable exactly.
- The evidence and its limits. What each study or record shows, and what it doesn’t.
- The sources. Open the originals, or the archived copy if a link dies.
What makes FactHub different
-
Check it yourself
Every rating comes with its evidence, the limits of that evidence, and the sources, archived so they don’t vanish.

Think we’re wrong? Prove it.
Send counter-evidence. Every change is a new numbered version, and the old ones stay readable.

Audited in public
Independent auditors grade every version, and their findings stay on the record.

Data, not just words
Open datasets and charts break complicated questions into pieces you can see.

Five seconds or five hours
Every check opens with a one-line answer, then a one-minute summary, then the full investigation. Stop wherever you have what you need.
-
Built to be cited
Each version has its own permanent link, and every check gives you one exact sentence to quote, so a share can’t drift from what we found.
Our promise
- We lead with what the evidence supports.
- We separate facts, interpretation, uncertainty, and opinion.
- We make important sources easy to open and assess.
- We correct errors without hiding the history.
- We take serious challenges seriously. Evidence decides, not votes.
- We earn trust through work you can inspect.
For researchers and developers
Every check is also structured data. Pages carry ClaimReview metadata for search engines, and public MCP tools let researchers and AI systems read the same claims, ratings, evidence and versions you see here, and submit evidence-based feedback. Automated reports are evidence for review, not votes that change a conclusion.
