What this chart asks

How much has each side spent on I-638, and when?

Why it is shown this way

  • One bar per side and year, plus each side's two-year total, so the shift from the 2025 signature drive to the 2026 campaign is visible.
  • Color marks the side; labels on the x axis repeat it so color is not needed to read the chart.
  • The y axis starts at zero.

Limitations

  • Counts only spending whose own description names I-638. Let's Go Washington's spending that names no measure ($2.48 million over both years, mostly staff, legal and consulting) is not included; prorating it would raise the Yes 2025-26 total from $1.36 million to $1.99 million. The No side's unallocated spending is small ($88,557).
  • Snapshot: itemized expenditures run through October 12, 2026; by then No Hate in WA State had about $1.9 million raised but not yet spent.
